Your teaching schedule includes:

Bilingual Lower Secondary (English): Physics for HAVO 3 (1 class) and VWO 3 (2 classes), as well as the interdisciplinary subject Science (Biology, Chemistry, Physics) for VWO 2 (1 class).

Upper Secondary (Dutch): Physics for VWO 4 (3 classes).
As a teacher, you know how to truly motivate students using active learning methods. You are a dedicated team player who works closely with department colleagues to guide classes towards shared goals. You foster curiosity for the physical sciences and contribute to a safe and engaging learning environment.

What We Ask of You

You preferably hold a first-degree teaching qualification in Physics, or are currently studying towards one (second-degree qualified teachers with upper secondary experience are also invited);

You are available from January 4 through February 19 on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and preferably one half-day on Thursdays;

Experience in a bilingual setting is preferred; experience with CLIL and TVO is an advantage, while a strong affinity for both is essential;

You possess excellent spoken and written English skills (C2 certificate is preferred);

You are a strong team player who enjoys collaborating with department colleagues to bring student groups to the finish line together;

You utilize active teaching strategies to keep students engaged and motivated;

You have an affinity with teaching students who reflect the diversity of Rotterdam society;

Your digital skills are up to date.
