Job description:

The International School Hilversum is looking for an experienced mathematics teacher.
The position includes lessons in the Middle Years Programme MYP (11 -16) and the Diploma Programme DP (17 -18). You will join a mathematics department where active collaboration is expected and encouraged. This includes the support of an experienced and dynamic team that has enjoyed excellent results over many years. 

The position is available to start in August 2023.

We are looking for a colleague meeting the following criteria:
Preferably you have:
  • Excellent command of English, writing and speaking;
  • Excellent social and communication skills;
  • Both happy and able to work in a team;
  • Ability to work with students of all age groups;
  • Experience with the IB programmes desirable but not essential.

    Education and other:
  • Appropriate Teaching qualification that is recognized by DUO;
  • Dutch passport or eligibility to live and work in the Netherlands;
  • For British colleagues we can assist with a VISA application.

A “Verklaring van goed gedrag” (VOG) will be required upon appointment.
References must be available on request.

Salary is according to the Collective Labour Agreement (CAO) for Secondary Education (VO).
