Our Primary and Secondary schools are situated on two spacious campuses in The Hague's International Zone, working closely together with a shared vision and mission as part of the Rijnlands Lyceum Foundation. Ideal candidate is
· a person who has affinity with students between the ages 11 to 18
· handy and responsible for minor maintenance and repair work on building(s), grounds, installations, equipment and inventory
· service-oriented, able to think along with regard to facilities and audiovisual areas and check buildings and inventory
· can, after consultation with the head concierge, engage third parties if necessary to clear up malfunctions
· submits administrative data, technical tasks and, if desired, execute purchase orders
· confident using MS Office with the ability to quickly learn and navigate ESH systems.
· a team worker who is able to support the colleagues within the facilities team when required
· in possession of a BHV and First Aid diploma. A VCA diploma is an advantage
· available two fixed days a week (days to be agreed), 8 hours a day, alternating between 07:30 and 18:00. There are also periodic evening shifts. Shifts also run during school holidays to support on-site works.
· someone who can personally contribute to the European identity of our school. This means, among other things, knowledge of the English language in word and writing, in addition to a good command of the Dutch language. A second foreign (European) language is an advantage
